You know I am not the most scientific person BUT when I compare pics of yours to pics of mysid on google they do look very similar.

Hey, they're just free fish food. BTW, Michael your shark is a nurse shark. Don't piss them off. Everyone thinks they are harmless because they don't have big teeth, but what they don't have in teeth they make up for with jaw strength and attitude. One guy put it like this: "They have such a bad attitude that if you piss them off, they will bite you and then go bite your buddy too just for to heck of it." One kid was messing with one a couple years ago and it bit onto his stomach and didn't let go. They had to take the kid and the shark to the emergency room to get it pryed off.

Yeah... I wasn't trying to make friends with it or anything. I was just watching it go through the sand looking for snacks.

Yeah Nurse sharks are credited for many shark bites in the US. Mostly because people try to pet or feed them.

Another good reason to not get bit is their peculiar tooth morphology. They are well adapted to crushing and shredding inverts as well as retaining grip. The do quite a number on squids, lobsters, and squishy people flesh. Not quite as ornery as bull sharks but up there on the list.

BTW sorry for continuing to de-rail. And those ares some sweet pics. What kind of camera? Is it waterproof?
