Default Fronts

These are the two remaining frontosa I have for sale. The first one is an Ikola Frontosa. His stripes are not as deep/bold as the other front and his forehead will not get as large either. For that matter, this frontosa will not get as large in overall size as the other frontosa.

The second Frontosa tends to be much darker through the body. He has a very "MALE like" appearance to him. He is going to be a large frontosa I think.

The Ikola front is slightly smaller than the other front.

Ikola - $30.00 (3.75")
Other - $35.00 (4")

Default extra fish pics

I wanted to get some pics of the fish in natural sunlight to give the most accurate color reproduction but it was kind of difficult. In order for the fish to catch the light, they had to come up on the front glass, so some were kind of skiddish. I used the flash on the empress because he was staying back - so I stepped back from the tank and used the flash and it gave a much more accurate representation of his color. The other fish are just reflecting natural sunlight.

I wanted to get my yellow lab but he was hiding in the rocks and would not come out!

TWO FISH REMAINING!

Electric Blue Ahli 5.5"-6" for $30.00
Red Empress 5.5"-6" for $30.00

These are awesome looking fish and get along well in the tank. I highly recommend getting both. The red empress is dominat to the blue ahli which works out well! Should do well with peacocks and other haps in a 75+ gallon tank.

Joe,

I'm really interested in your electric blue ahli! I'm not such a big fan on the red empress - so just let me know if you're willing to seperate. Or, I'd take them both if you would do $20 for the two? But, I really only want the electric blue and I would pay the full price for him alone.

Btw, the yellow lab now has another yellow lab in the tank with it and they're swimming together all the time and get along great. And the neo. leleupi (sp?) and my red devil are actually "tank mates" now it's so funny to see them together because my red devil is so much bigger than the neo.

Thanks,
David

WOW, that is really surprising about the neo and red devil! Never would have thought that. BUT, bad news on the ahli. Everything I have is SOLD except for a taiwan reef that I am still playing around with. The ahli would have been much larger than your other fish too- I underested his size b/c he was exactly 6.5 inches when I measured him after taking him out of the tank. I know fish world in Raleigh sometimes will have an ahli for 20.00 at 2.5" or so. You may also be able to ask your local fish store if they can order one for you. If you do that, you should not have to pay a shipping fee and it should only cost you about 20.00.

You can get these from reputable dealers pretty cheap even if you have to order them

Here is the first example I came across (zero searching around)
Sciaenochromis Fryeri

shipment is 40 bucks and you can get easily 40 fish in a box making shipment as low as 1 dollar a fish so you can order multiple types. Best thing to do is do a group order which is not too hard to do but even if you dont you still have options

Lets say you want 9 fish at roughly 7 dollars each and it costs you 40 bucks to ship that's 103 dollars and you get 9 quality fish.

Let's say you are buying juveniles to statistically make sure you get at least 1 m and 1 f it is recommended you get 6 fish(20 bucks each)... So that turns out to be 120+7.5% tax=129 dollars

Even if you go with 5 that would be 107+ dollars.. Id rather go with the 4 or 5 extra fish for the same price.... If you have extras you can take it to the Raleigh Aquarium Society Auction and spread the love!

BTW this is not a comment on the price for RJB... that is a full adult fish and a Good Deal!
