Japanese LED fixtures that are self contained. They won't let them import to the US due to some issue, maybe a fire hazard or something stupid?

But you can get the same style/effect with a set of Evil LED setups from www.nanotuner.com

+1 on EvilC66, Clive's stuff. Clive helped me wire up the LED array I use for actinic supplements, he knows what he's doing.

The more I look a the dimensions, I think a 2 bulb T5 setup may be better. A nice 4 bulb setup would be sweet, but is probably not gonna be needed, unless I want to do SPS. It's gonna depend on the $$$ I have.

Trust me, you can still do SPS under a 2 bulb fixture, esp that shallow.

Let me know when you get her going, I have a few "low-med" light SPS that will be ready to frag in the near future. Cactus pavona, pink bird's nest, red and green monti, etc..

Sounds awesome Matt. I may actually be having you build me a nice piece for this tank, depending on if it will fly with the fiance I have a few ideas that I want to run by you, a combination larger stand/table. I will sketch you some stuff up once I get a few moments. only problem I see right now is how to do power to the aquarium with my design.

Hey Josh, why not set the tank up in a similar area, and use HID pendants? Something with a nice steel finish would look sweet with that tank. I've started to see HID modules for aquariums. They put out a lot of light and can be focused like the tank in your first photos.

Jason I totally would but in our new place there isn't anywhere appropriate for that kind of setup. I would love to use a 3-4 fixture LED setup, but this tank is not going to take priority over the big tank. Lots to think about when planning such a small tank!
