Default Long very skinny worm?????

As I was walking past my tank I stopped to look at it and saw a black and white striped worm thing slithering across the rock and into a hole. It was roughly 1 inch long but extremely skinny maybe as thick as 3 or 4 hairs if you combined them. It was not even as thick as a regular pin point. It was about the same thickness as a normal thumb tack needle part. Ok so what could this be? He was slithering just like a snake as if he had control over all his body, and he didnt look like he had any spikes but more of a smoother surface.

Ideas?

No but i just found something similar in my tank. It was coming out of a rock, about 3 in long, and the only thing i can think to describe it as is a conch arm/feeler thing..

It is a peanut worm. They are fine and nothing to worry about.

mine was actually very very skinny and only like inch long. That thing in the cup looks huge! But yes its black and white circles were of that pattern. Also in my zoos there are long skinny white worms things that come out of a bigger white round housing. They will grab tank waste and try to pull it close to their house. What are they?

Long skinny white worms/sweeper tentacles are usually sabellid tube worms or serpulid. No worries good clean up crew.
