Default kleins orange butterfly fish

i was just wondering if anyone had one of these in a reef tank? i bought one of these from a local fish shop yesterday and was told he was reef safe but after getting home and doing some research i read alot about them eating corals. so i was just wondering if anyone had one in a reef tank and how he did.

A lot of people get them for aptasia control in the reef but will usually have to take them out after they have finished eating the aptasia. I have never personally had one though but a friend of mine did and did as I stated above

I'll take if off your hands if it doesn't work out for you in your reef Pee-Wee. I'd like to have one in my FOWLR tank for aptasia control... and because I like butterfly fish.

I have read that they'll eat softies- leathers and zoas. As with all things though... you never know how it will behave.

Pee-Wee, I ordered a trio of raccoon butterfly's for a client and they picked a xxl rock of pink palys in about 3 days. Not sure how the kleins will do with polyps but thought I would share. Joe

I have never really heard of someone keeping one full time in a reef tank. As Cammie said above most people use them if aptasia starts getting out of hand in a reef then remove them afterwards. Most things I have read on them say it's 50/50.

I hate to hear it did not work out. Even worse i hate to hear you were misinformed. I hope it did not do too much damage.
