Default Rock Turning White???

What would cause my Live Rock to turn White instead of Purple??? I have some of my rocks turning white while other are normal. All my params are good but I see this white starting to cover my rock??????

When you say all parms are good, calcium? It would help if you could post your params. to figure out what is going on. Another question, is this "new" rock that you've added, if so how long was it out of the water? OK, one more question, is the whole rock turning white or just in places? What about zapping any aiptasia?

How log has this rock been in your system ? sometimes new rock will do that untill it gets used to your tank ...coralline will die iff but will come back with a vengence

Coral Growths. I have Frog Spawns and hard corals that are doing great. Just the White Rock????? Head Scratcher!!!!!

Huh....? Can you explain more? Not getting a clear picture....speaking of, pictures would help. It is the rocks turning white or corals....?

I have had some trouble with the multitude of coralline growth. Just some and it never seems to take off like I see in other tanks. Dunno, but i wish i could get that purple and red stuff covering my rock instead of the white.

How long has the rock been in there and how long has the system been set up?
