Buy it from Dr. Foster and Smith. Decent price and they did not charge extra for shipping based on weight unlike every other website.

Like I said cat litter can also be added. It is a clay substrate, but it will form one giant glob under the gravel unlike Flourite which remains gravel-like.

Very nice.... Love the contrast. Your fish are beautiful. I hope to have some lotus plant once I get my hands and feet really wet at keeping plants I stuck with the cheaper and easier ones to begin with

Check out what I found in my tank...Discus eggs! We have 2 of the 4 guarding them, which is a good sign that they are a mated pair. I doubt these eggs will survive, but this give me something to watchout for and plan for in the future.

the blue cobalt discus looks to be the same almost metallic blue as the powder blue dwarf gouramis. I love those fish.
