Moving from NY to NC on Friday

Hi everyone . Very excited to finally get oug of NY and start a reef tank up again . My wife and I have been saving for this move for 5 years , during that time i had no choice but to give up reefing. Always made it known that it was a temporary break ! The deal i made with the wife was after we save enough to get out of ny , i had free kibosh to start a reef tank up .!!!! Before the decision to move came about i had reef tanks for about 7 years . I got out right around the time leds were becoming affordable . We are renting for a while while we look to buy a house somewhere but im still gonna get a nano to start on .
We moving to Clayton NC Riverwood

Welcome back! You're spot on that LED technology/cost has come way down in the last seven years. You'll have fun setting up the new nano!

Thanks everyone . We made out on the sale of our new York home . I feel like im always going to bleed ny blood but we do love it here . I have a small issue with the wife , she wants me to wait till we actually buy a house to start a tank . We are all ready looking . Im still gonna try n do a small 16 gal all in one with the justification that it will be a quarantine tank for my main reef . Pretty excited tho my son is 10 and i took him to the local reef store in Clayton and he seems very interested in the hobby . Yet another reason to start now!!!!
