My 10 gallon entry

I am new to this forum and have tried to post this twice now, once last night and just about an hour ago, and each time I hit post thread it said I had to log in and erased everything I typed and as you can see it is quite a bit, but anyway my roommate uses this forum and I had her see if there was anyone who knew of a good epoxy to use for coral frags (super glue just doesn’t cut it for me most of the time). While she was doing that I was looking for some SeaClone 100 mods and came across a link that came to this forum and while reading the posts iI saw a 10 gallon aquarium contest and it just so happens I just started a 10 gallon nano reef on July 1st. So I clicked on the link hoping I could still enter. so hear is my entry (I am coping and pasting this thread before I click post this time to make sure I don’t have to type it for a third time)

Costs:

Tetra 10 gallon Aquarium Starter Kit - $40
*tank
*hood
*filter
Zoo Med Reef Sun 50/50 Compact Fluorescent Bulbs x2 - $24
Piece of acrylic - $7
Krylon spray paint gloss black/metallic chrome - $7
(the last two are not equipment but they were used to mod and paint the hood and back of aquarium so let me know if I can take that out of he cost)

Total - $78 ($64 with out last two items)

Live Stock:

Astraea Conehead Snail - $2.99
Cerith Snail - $0.74
Dwarf Blue Leg Hermit Crab - $0.97
Sea Cucumber - $???
I got the sea cucumber for free at my LFS some guy brought it in and didn’t want it anymore and it is not on live aquaria. It is in the last picture so if any of you know what kind it is that would be awesome to know. Its about 2-3 inches depending if it stretches out.

Total - $4.70

Grand Total - $82.70

Other Items:
about 10lbs of live rock, 5lbs of live sand

Hopefully soon to com items:
some fish, corals, power head, and moonlight.

Spiny Sea Cucumber. Will poison you tank if it dies, also its very hard to keep. I had one and it was not that hard to keep it didnt die. I traded it just incase. Here a link http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...91&pcatid=2891

The cost of your tank doesn't cost towards your $150 limit. Just an FYI.

Great looking tank, I've been thinking about setting up a 10 gallon salt tank. You've pretty much sold me on it, I have all that equipment around the house.
