Help with Java moss

Yeah it's a big tank sometimes it gives problem one more thing my fishes has ripped most of the Java moss from driftwood and lava rocks I don't know what to do I am interested in Java moss is it possible to grow Java moss on lava rock in a small tank which will get sunlight and when the moss is attached can I move it my main tank?
