WTB - Freshwater Aquarium Plants

Hello fellow fish keepers!

I am in the market for some freshwater plants for my new setup. If anyone has any they might want to give away or sell, please let me know I'd love to have some for my new aquarium.

Also, any suggestions of reputable places, websites, etc to go buy or places to get some unusual or colorful plants, I'd appreciate it.

I have checked out a few LFS around town and it seems they all have the same plants.

Thanks for your time reading my post. Hope everyone has a great and safe weekend!

Yours Truly,

It might help to specify which kinds of plants you're looking for, since you're not satisfied with the selection in local shops.

Hi Craig,
Check out a Raleigh Aquarium Society meeting on the first Thursday of the month at 730 at the NC State vet school near the state fairgrounds. Park across the street, and go on downstairs. Good group with a good program, and an auction after the program. There are usually lots of plants at the auction.

There will be loads of local-grown plants at the Raleigh Aquar Soc auction this Sunday, Oct 6, at Holiday Inn on Northwoods Blvd just west of Capital Blvd. Opens at 9;00 am; auction starts at 10:00. Register (both sellers and buyers) and preview items for sale at mygroupauctions.com. A lot of items get registered during the last few hours before auction starts.
