Wait, wait, don't tell me...

This was only a success because the breeding program got their hands on some LRS food right?

I think its time that I start a breeding program in my garage with LRS and a couple of kiddie pools.

I used LRS and my fish died from bacterial infections....cant prove it was the food but ever since I've switched all of my fish have lived

I've heard a story like that too. A local hobbyist got a sample of the LRS with beta carotene and within a short-time after starting the feedings they lost all of their fish pretty much at once. Who knows if it was the food, it is easy to have something go wrong in your system and place blame. Fish however don't just die all at once unless something went seriously wrong.

In 2015 I put over 100 fish through QT and I used LRS / Brine and Mysis from Petco / NLS pellets. If you asked me what my go to was between LRS, brine and mysis I would tell you its all the same stuff.

Its not crappy food by any means but it isn't miracle food either. Larry has done an exceptional job of promoting his products and has only strengthened his brand by getting his food into these different breeding programs. Larry is like the Apple of fish food for your aquarium.

For me, I've found to have great success just feeding my fish NLS pellets and algae sheets.

Yeah I feed LRS and NLS pellets exclusively. Never heard anything bad about LRS that's why I was surprised by the comment..
