Very Interested in a local freshwater fish club.

Hi All, I live in the Holden Beach area and would love to join, meet up, or start a fish club. I have researched the surrounding areas and the Raleigh Club were very responsive and kind, however there should be something closer to the coast right? Please advise and thank you.

Wilmington areas fish clubs have started and floundered several times over the past 20-30 years. But you're welcome to use RAS as a "mothership" in you efforts to recruit. If nothing else, it might help in findning local buddies to travel with to RAS events.

Iíd be interested if you find / start a freshwater club nearby (Iím in Leland).
I donít have a setup at the moment, back in NJ I had a few Malawi groups in 2x55 and 2x20 tanks. Was a member of Eastcoastcichlids - not actually a club, they have an active forum and huge auctions twice a year.

I just retired, and Iím getting the bug to get back in but Iím not ready for the salt water scene.
