New Office Nano

After years of keeping a 7.5 gallon FW planted tank in my office, I finally got up the nerve to try a nano reef. Office regs restrict tank size to 10 gallons, so I went with the IM Nuvo 10, with Kessil A80. Indo-Pacific "black" sand, refugium in back middle chamber. Upgraded the stock pump to a Sicce .5. So far, so good. One firefish and one clown goby (who is a bit camera shy).

Very nice looking tank! What are you running filtration wise?

Thanks. 10 lbs of Caribsea Liferock. 2 Chemi-Pure Blue nano packs, floss, 5 Marinepure ceramic balls (all in an inTank media basket). For 3 days a week, I replace the floss with Polyfilter. Also have a refugium in back with more Marinepure, rubble rock, chaeto and the chaetomax light. No skimmer, though I've been trying to figure out how to put in a Reefglass. For the first time ever, I'm running Nature's Ocean natural seawater. It's a tad bit more expensive (about 20 bucks a month), but I can have it delivered to the office. Saves me having to mix it, haul it in, etc.

Excellent! I bet your tank is going to grow out nicely! I am going to be setting up my nano in the next week or so as well. I like the 10g IM's though they look really nice.

I have a 6 gallon nano cube sitting in my garage that I am contemplating setting up. I was holding off setting that one up to entertain going to a bit bigger tank. I like the IM nuvo tanks and I had a 16 gallon a while back. I may end up setting the 6 gallon up and if I want to go a little bigger upgrade to a 20 or so.
