Skimmer too large for sump

Figured i'd try here though traffic seems low.

Had to move tank to a cabinet that doesn't yield the height to include skimmer (bubble magus curve 7). Any way to set this up externally and connect to current sump via bulkheads etc or am i going to just have to throw this in my DT?

thanks for any suggestions.

I hope youve figured out a solution. I know I am late to the party, but there are many different ways to set up an external skimmer. You just may have to get creative and sometimes even spend a little more $. Other option is to spend more $ and just buy a smaller skimmer... lol.
