May NCMAS Meeting

The May NCMAS meeting will be held Saturday, May 31 from 12:00 to 3:00PM.

We will be having a discussion and live demonstration on how to properly frag coral.

NCMAS, with support from our sponsor Crystal Coast Coral, has purchased some very nice LPS, SPS, Polyp, Mushroom, and Soft Coral colonies. During the meeting we will be fragging these colonies. Everyone will be given the opportunity to frag.

All coral fragged this day will be split up and given to NCMAS members in attendance. Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting but only NCMAS members will receive frags. Frags will not be sold at this event.

The meeting will be held at Garage Door Specialist in Raleigh.
1411 Diggs Drive Suite J Raleigh 27603
Thanks in advance to NCMAS member nova66ss for allowing us to use this location.

Doors open at 12:00PM
Pizza and Drinks will be provided.
Meeting officially starts at 12:30PM and ends at 3:00PM

Not a member? Itís not too late!! Check out our website NCMAS for more information. The membership information can be found here NCMAS Membership.

We hope you all can come out, meet some friends, have a great time, learn a thing or two and walk away with some nice coral.

Yea, we will have all of the hand tools, frag saw w/extra blades (you never know when you'll need one), plugs, discs, glue, coral dip, bags, plenty of water and a great place to have the meeting. I'm sure I forgot something, but we will have everything covered.

And as mentioned if anyone wants to bring anything of their own to frag (within reason) and try out the saw you are more than welcome.
