Greetings RAS community.

This week we will be hosting our biggest and best events of the year.

The 35th Carolina Aquarium Workshop features 10 talks from 5 speakers
spread out over 3 days (Thur-Saturday).

We are having our first ever shrimp bowl contest (not too late to
enter!). An excellent opportunity to share a peek of the shrimp we are
collectively keeping! More @
https://www.raleighaquariumsociety.o...shrimp-contest

The weather forecast is looking great for our Friday collecting trip,
with Gerald and Chip leading those interested in finding what we have
in our own local region.

And of course, our Sunday auction will produce the usual bounty of
aquatic animals and plants.

Details for all these activities can be found on our web site:
www.raleighaquariumsociety.org.

A couple of quick notes:

There will be no Thursday auction, save your goodies (and $$) for
Sunday!

Also, the Sunday auction is aquatic animals/plants only, no dry goods
(no tanks, stands, equipment, etc.). Regrettably, the last few auctions
have not had the space necessary for dry goods. (We hope to have a
separate event later that will allow dry goods.)

If you haven't registered for the workshop yet, please do so in
advance rather than waiting. It helps with our planning and will
simplify checkin.

Finally, we are still in need of a few more volunteers to help run the
show. Confirmed volunteers will be given a t-shirt and banquet ticket
for their help. See:

We're looking forward to a great event and hope to see you soon!
