We have two new 40 gallon starfire glass sumps from waterbox aquarium’s 230.6 and 20 gallon waterbox starfire ATO
Long story short we purchased our 230.6 from waterbox several months back and our first two sumps arrived damaged so they replaced them for us - amazing product and customer service FYI. The sumps are amazing. Have two 7” filter socks and removable plate in the center section so you can have a refugium or simply a beast of a skimmer if removed.
Sump 1 - still in plastic wrap. Arrived with the section between the second filter sock and refugium/middle chamber shattered. Someone who has skill and tome can easily fix this with glass or acrylic and get amazing use out of it.
Sump 2 - there is a large chip in the smallest chamber of the sump which is the return chamber. It doesn’t seem to have damaged the joints or silicone or have actually cracked through the glass, however, waterbox decided to replace it to be safe. We did fill that chamber with water overnight once with no leaks seen. We have the glass chip which I feel could easily be epoxied and once again make a killer sump.
Both sumps are 40 gallon and measure 32.5x19.75x16
I have attached a picture of our sump so you can see what it looks like in action!
The 230.6 aquarium comes with a 20 gallon ATO which we decided not to use as we used that cabinet space for our calcium reactor.
Could make a great ATO or refugium/desktop tank for someone!
ATO measures 19.5x15x16
