No clowns for me, but I did christen my tank with 3 corals from the Reef Farm today. Considering that I started all over, I was kind of nervous that they would die as soon as I put them in the tank. But what do you know? The zoas opened almost immediately and the other two look good. Yay!

I could try to take a terrible picture of something tomorrow if you want, Brando...I am not good at it, lol...just let me know which you are interested in.

AWESOME, Tindall!!! A new tank can't keep a reef farm coral down! Congrats, so sorry I missed you!!! I strained a muscle carrying all this weight I am not used to carrying, so I had to be still all last weekend. :(

We don't carry many snails or hermits...because of their tendancy to clean up algae in people's systems and then starve or prey on each other, meaning they need to be constantly replaced. (Not very sustainable) We try to urge people to get omnivorous fish that are easier to feed when the algae runs out...like molly miller blennies, so on.

That being said...I always keep just a few around that are either captive conditioned or tank raised...because some people like to keep them just as pets and not as overstocked "clean up crew".
