I’m set in stone, been in the fresh and saltwater hobby off and on for 18 years. As of right now I have a 150 gallon reef tank, that has not had a water change in three years

Nice work! I’m a believer in no water changes as well. Ran a 150 with no changes in 2 years.

Upgraded to a 230.6 waterbox and almost at a year now.

What’s your main source of nutrient export?

Do you dose anything?

We have a calcium reactor and dose microbacter and reef colors by Red Sea. Run a large slimmer and refugium.

Would love to see pics of your tank and coral colors and growth!

Here’s some pics of ours.

I dose every blue moon with coralvite. My main way to remove nutrients is with the mangroves in sump and I’m growing algae there as well (kind of like a diy algae scrubber). I don’t overfeed, that’s one of the biggest mistakes you can do. Most of corals in pics are closed up do to lights being off.
