RO/DI Water

I have a 6 stage ro/di system. Water from the tap reads 537 ppm. Water coming out reads 27 ppm. I just changed the ro membrane and it brought it down to 21 ppm. What else can be done to get it to 0? Even tho the system is probably 8 months ols there hasn't been that much water made with the system.

how old is the DI resin. that is what should be polishing the last few ppm out. The RO membrane should last a few years... the DI resin not so much
