I am posting this at DBreefs request.

This is my first attempt at a saltwater tank so it is going to be slow but i hope turns out well

Day 0 .. found the tanks best spot in my house.. probably going to have to re locate once the wife returns from her sisters and yells at me .. lol

today im adding the reef sand and the live rock and water.. the guys at Nemo's were awesome..not sure where im going yet on the fish /coral wise but i know where im getting my stuff from.

Thanks to Kat as she did me a real solid deal on this tank.

ill post the next set of pics once i have the work done

The main reason I have so much is It was my first reef so I had one of the guys working at the lfs help me plan out the scape in one of their tanks and out of all of our attempts that one had the most surface area for coral and fit into the one pound per gallon suggestion.

Added 4 more pounds of rock today sitting at about 14-15 pounds going to start looking for smaller filler rocks and add ons here are some new pics the water isnt quite settled from me messing around not 100% happy but i am pleased

btw the rock i got today has some coral growth already on it.. so i think of it as a bit of an accelerator to get my tank to cycle at least i hope it is lol
