Please join us on Friday December 5th as we hear from Carolina Discus! After the speaker we will then have a bowl show and an auction.
Where: Room 125 of Winston Hall, Wake Forest University Reynolda Campus
When: People usually start arriving around 7:45 pm because the speakers start promptly at 8
Who: All are welcome! Bring your friends, spouses, kids, etc. We usually have aquarium themed coloring pages.
Cost: Free, no member fee. Parking is also free.
Parking: Lot T on this map: http://static.wfu.edu/files/pdf/visitors/reynolda.parkingmap.pdf
Auction rules:
You are welcome to auction off your fish, coral, plants, macroalgae, equipment, decorations, et cetera aquarium items. Seller sets the starting bid price. The club does not keep any percentage of the winning bid. The club does not charge money for entering items into the auction. Seller keeps 100% of the winning bid.
Bowl show:
The bowl show species will be determined by popular vote on the facebook group wall before the night of the meeting. Please bring your fish in a watertight container. Entering the fish into the bowl show does not mean it is for sale, although you are welcome to sell it at the auction after the bowl show if you would like (the bowl show is a good way to get people to see your fish before it goes up for sale). The winning fish takes home a printout blue ribbon certificate with their name and their owner's name on it.
