Anyone know halfway decent deck builder? Looking to have non-covered deck added next to our deck that already covered. I have called 8 people over the last 2 weeks, not one of them has called me back.

Are they really that busy, they don't want or need my business :yawn: I guess it could be, as they are building new homes like crazy where we live.

I am in Clayton area, so if anyone knows of anyone please let me know.

If he doesn't respond, send me a PM. My wife works for a company that installs windows, roofs, vinyl siding, etc...I'm sure they can do decks as well, or at least refer you to a reputable contractor.

Built my own a year or so back... ended up with a 12x32 or so...Not too bad to do, but without my Dad and buddy I'd have been lost.

Wish my Dad's health wasn't bad I'd offer us up to do it.

What size are you looking to build out of curiosity?

Absolutely send David (Mr. Coral) a PM. His company's name is Complete Home Builders - they are on the web and facebook. He did a huge pergola in my backyard and has done work for others on here as well. His work is top notch. Let me know if you want to see some pics of what he did for me, and I can send them to you.

Also - it's just about spring, and right when everyone gets their tax returns back, so most contractors that do this type of work get really, really busy now.
