I couldn't find much information on how people were mounting LEDS in a canopy so I decided to post here how I did very cheaply. I didn't want to spend $100+ buying mount kits from AI. So I just bought L Brackets, Washer/Spacers, Nuts and Bolts, Screws. I mounted the L Brackets to the canopy and mounted another set of L Brackets to the AI Hydras with the bolt that comes with them. When you mount the L Brackets to the LED you use the washers/spacers underneath the L Bracket to raise it up so it sits at a perfect 90 cause the heat sink has a few different levels. Once you get those mounted bolt it to the L Brackets already screwed into the canopy. All of this can be bought for $20-30 at your local hardware store.

I just got them in UPS today and just finished mounting them the controller is still in the mail so I haven't really played with them at all. The only control I have right now is to hit the button on the back and make all the lights ramp 20% every time I push it. They are however really bright on 100% and the colors so far are sick without even adjusting them and it still has the exact same shimmer I had with the halides that were over the tank just more colorful.
