Does anyone know how to get rid of gelidium algae? I've heard emerald crabs or turbos.. Ive had a few turbos with no luck and Id rather not add a crab.. any other suggestions? Its on a small rock with zoas I could try a dip if anyone knows something that could work please let me know

It doesn't sound easy to get rid of urchin, and sea hares are suggested in addition to the turbo snails and emerald crabs.

If its just on one rock I'd pull it and scrape it with a razorblade. Turbos seem like the best bet but rabbit fish supposedly east it too.

Ill give it a shot, this stuff is tough. It doesn't look like it spreads fast though, its been on the same little zoa rock for months.

tweezers seemed to work best, I slowly chipped away and scrapped pieces of the rock off till it was gone. Now it's my turbo snails job to keep it down.
