I've always said 'ak-row-por-a' but many texts say 'a-crop-or-a' is the correct pronunciation. If you say 'a-crop-or-a' how do you say the short version - acro?
I switch back and forth depending whether I'm using the binomial name or the group so both A and B is an option I heard B more often in the Pacific Northwest.
hehehe this is cool, when I was moving to USA I was afraid that I'll be always a foreigner for local people. During my first year I've completely change my understanding. 90% of people here are foreigners
I remember the first time I heard A crop or a...I thought dude was just wrong, LOL, had never heard it before! I will say the first guy I heard it from did have an accent...though I will never be able to remember what kind...that was over 10 years ago!
Most people say Acro Pora...I don't know that the folks who say A crop or a HAVE a short version, like Acro...what would it be? A Crop? Would make it sound like you want to climb into an English riding saddle, with your crop and all...
Haha it's definitely B but A is American. Also sounds cooler imo
