New to Hobby- Myrtle Beach

Just started a month ago. Got a pair of green chomies, brittle star and hermit crabs. I would like to get a few corals, but would hate to spend the money to have them die. Tank parameters are fine and everyones happy, just a little leary about shelling out $25 to slowly kill them.
