RODI for fish and drinking?

I got a 4 stage RODI system and have been using it for my tank water needs. I also have a drinking water chiller i use the water for. My question is about DI. I bypassed the Di part and tried just RO water and it was at 1ppm but it had a chlorine taste to it. So I tried RODI water in my drinking water chiller and it tasted really good. Many say the DI makes it taste weird but i feel the opposite. Are there any health concerns either way with RO or RODI?

RO/DI water is hypotonic. Not enough dissolved minerals.. it will end up costing your body more energy than drinking isotonic water. Exposing a cell to a hypotonic environment will cause it to likely burst under the imposed pressure of water rushing in to the higher salt concentration in the cell
