I got a real old wavemaker and about 6 cheap powerheads hooked up on my 180. Im about to go the mp 40 route question do i need one our two ? Im going to unhook all old powerheads

You will need at least 2 MP-40's.

I agree, at least 2. If you go onto the Vortech website they actually have a really good guide to how many MP's you'd need and the % of power to them you want to run.

I Bought 2 From Fish Street For The 250 I Just Set up. They Have A Dual Controller Now.I Have 1 On My 120. You Can Get 2 With The Dual Control For About $135 I Think. Plus Shipping. 1 Is Really To Strong For A 4 Foot Tank . 2 May Be A little Much For A 6 Ft 180, But The New Control Has A Little More Flow Control As Well.
