Last Tuesday on the 12th me and my brother having a car accident which was life-threatening forcnot only me but him as well we both doing fine now I have four broken fingers two possible amputations.of my middle and ring finger. stitches in the last three of my fingers and Shrapnell stuck in my wrist my brother only has a broken ankle some plates and it obviously is in pain stitches that of been taking out recently in a couple of scratches and close wounds
We are lucky and happy to be alive.

Wow, thank god both of you survived. What caused the accident?

I hit a pothole, my tie rod snapped causing the tire to fly off then the truck dipped where the missing tire was and axel caught the road and that's when it rolled

Yeah she's totaled. :/ but glad to be lucky enough to survive I'm just hoping I can keep the fingers.

we are getting better each day. its still rough but just happy to be alive, it really changes your perspective on life and the ppl around you

Yes I'm right there with you on that change in perspective. I've wound up in the hospital a few times over past couple years, the last time was January 1st when I took a digger down a flight of 20 stairs. When I told my dad, he told me a story about how his highschool buddy went home to visit his parents and went downstairs to do laundry, fell and broke his neck on the way down. I'm lucky I just knocked myself out and one broken bone among a bunch of lacerations. It really makes you appreciate being upright In the words of Jimmy Buffett, "It's such a fragile magic." I wish you the speediest of recoveries.

UPDATE: i am going to the docs Friday to remove my hard cast and stitches. ill probably be in another cast since i still have pins in my ringer finger.

New update. Pictures are around 2 weeks old. Looks like I'm keeping the finger so far

well got my jib at petsmart finally, hopefully going to start soon especially excited with graduation coming up. but just an update ill be on and off here. As my family has suffered the loss of a family member killed in a car accident 17 year old Samantha Windham passed away on 6-1-14 and we will be doing a bike ride for her very soon and all the proceeds go to her parents. She was my cousin and was expected to graduate on the 12th so keep her mother, father and little sister in your thoughts. thankyou again

Glad to hear you are going to be able to keep your finger. From the pins and x-rays it looks like you did quite a number on it. Sorry to hear about the loss of your cousin, prayers to your family.
